Connection over Perfection

What Does It Mean To Elope...?

Eloping isn’t about running away —

It’s about choosing something real. It’s for couples who want their day to feel relaxed, meaningful, and completely their own.

It’s choosing intimacy over obligation, freedom over schedules, and connection over tradition.

My approach is simple: no stiff posing, no pressure, just honest moments that tell your story the way it felt.

Whether you’re saying your vows on a lakeside cliff, at city hall, or in your backyard, I’ll be there to capture it all — the quiet glances, the laughter, the little moments in between. Because those are the ones you’ll want to remember most.

Every couple I photograph are unique, and I’m here to help you plan a day that truly reflects you — from location ideas and timelines to making sure you feel comfortable in front of the camera.

If you’re dreaming of an intimate, intentional day that’s more about connection than production, I’d love to tell your story.

Is Eloping Right For Us...?

Eloping is for couples who want a wedding day that feels real.

A day that’s less about performance and more about presence. If the thought of a big, traditional wedding feels overwhelming or not quite “you,” eloping gives you the freedom to slow down and celebrate your love in a way that feels natural and true.

It’s for those who find beauty in simplicity —

Who’d rather trade a ballroom for a mountaintop, a guest list for quiet laughter in the woods, or a crowded dance floor for a sunset shared between just the two of you. It’s for couples who want their day to be about connection, adventure, and intention.

Eloping doesn’t mean giving up on a meaningful celebration — it means creating one that reflects who you are at your core. Whether that looks like hiking to a viewpoint at dawn, saying your vows beside a lake, or cozying up in a cabin after a slow morning together, your elopement is a space to be fully yourselves.

If that sounds like the kind of day that feels right in your heart — then eloping might just be exactly what you’ve been searching for.

FAQ

When Should we book you?

Most couples reach out 6–12 months before their date, but I sometimes have last-minute openings — especially for weekday elopements. If you have a date in mind, it’s always best to get in touch early so we can start dreaming and planning together.

How many hours of coverage do we need for an elopement?

Most elopements are 2–6 hours, depending on what you want to include — like getting ready moments, travel to your ceremony spot, or sunset portraits. I’ll help you build a timeline that fits your vision and keeps the day relaxed and unrushed.

What’s included in your elopement packages?

Every package includes photography coverage, planning guidance, and a beautiful online gallery with all your edited images. I’ll help you choose a location, build a timeline, and create a day that feels natural and unrushed. Whether you want a full-day adventure or something short and sweet, we’ll tailor it to your story.

What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

Part of the beauty of eloping is embracing whatever the day brings. Some of my favorite images come from windy, moody, or rainy weather — it adds emotion and texture to your story. And if the forecast looks rough, we’ll make a flexible plan so you never feel stressed.

We’re camera-shy — will that be a problem?

Not at all. Most of my couples say the same thing! My approach is quiet and documentary but can prompt when necessary — I’ll give gentle direction when needed, but mostly I let you just be together.

We’ve never done anything like this before… do you help us plan?

Absolutely! I love helping couples dream up their perfect day. From location ideas and timelines to light, weather, and travel logistics — I’ll guide you every step of the way. Think of me as your photographer and your calm, nature-loving guide.

Can we bring a few guests or family members? How many can we bring?

Of course! Many couples include a handful of loved ones — parents, siblings, or close friends. Max is 20 people but I don't recommend them being present for the whole time. You want to have time to hangout just the two of you.

How soon will we get our photos?

You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within a week, and your full gallery (high-resolution and ready to download) within 6–8 weeks. Each image is carefully edited to reflect the natural tones and emotions of your day.

Do you travel outside of Ontario?

Yes! I’m always up for an adventure.

Can we still book you even if we're not eloping?

Of course! Once you fill out the inquiry form, I will contact you to talk details of your vision.

Where can we elope in Ontario?

Ontario is full of beautiful, intimate locations for elopements — from the cliffs of Rattlesnake Point to Muskoka’s lakes, Niagara vineyards, or even cozy Airbnbs tucked in the forest. I’ll help you find a spot that feels like you.
